St Matthews is situated in the heart of arguably the fastest growing community in South Africa - Table View, in arguably the most beautiful city in the world - Cape Town.

We were established in 1986 as a church plant of St James Church Kenilworth and belong to the Church of England in South Africa a growing denomination whose motto is, “Thy Word above all things”. As a part of C.E.S.A. we are committed to our Protestant, Evangelical, Reformed and Anglican roots expressed in a contemporary and relevant way.

We have planted a Church (Christ Church Blaauwberg) in a new part of Table View called Parklands and are encouraged by the growth and development that has happened there.

We are also a member of the Willow Creek Association and enjoy a very fruitful relationship with the association and other member Churches.
